How to Develop Officer Like Qualities for SSB Interview
OLQ’s known as Officer Like Qualities are set of 15 Qualities which an Officer Should have in him/ her. It is these 15 Qualities on which SSB Interviews Assessor assess. The 15 Qualities are divided into 4 Factors:-

1.Effective Intelligence. Is the intelligence required to make daily decisions.The Decisions should be smart ones
2. Reasoning ability. To understand The Essence Of PRoblem you require Reasoning Ability.You need to have Logical Reasoning to solve the Problem Properly thus Reasoning Ability is an Important Quality
3. Organising ability. The ability to arrange the resources in a systematic way so as to produce effective results. To Produce Maximum Results Out Of Given Resources is what is Organizing Ability.
4. Power of expression. This is the most important tools of personality/Aim Should be To Deliver Your Idea and Make Your Idea Understand to Everyone
5. Social adaptability. The ability to adapt to the social environment and adjust well with persons and society is what is Social Adaptability. Social adaptability includes attitude towards others, tact, and adaptability
6. Cooperation. The attitude of an individual to participate willingly in harmony with others in a group, in achieving the group goal. Cooperation includes the element of joint effort and team spirit.
7. Sense Of Responsibility The Sense Of Responsibility means Sense Of Duty. How well are you Dedicated towards your Duty.
8. Initiative. It has the following aspects:-(a) Ability to take the first steps in an unfamiliar situation.(b) In the right direction.
9. Self-confidence.Are You ready to Face the Challenges,This Quality Checks Amount Of Confidence in You
10. Speed of decision-Correct Decision Taken at the Right Time is Important.Quickness in Arriving ata Decision is Important.
11. Ability to influence the group. The ability which enables an individual to take out the Work From the Group.So that Work Becomes Collective.
12. Liveliness To make The Enviroment light and tense free one needs to have liveliness in him /her.
13. Determination Constant Effort and constant goal oriented actions show your determinations.
14. Courage. Ability to Take Dangers, Explore Adventures lead to Courage.
15. Stamina. The capacity to withstand physical and mental strain. Stamina is necessary for Physical Endurances.
These are 15 Officer Like Qualities which every Armed Forces Commissioned Officer Posses in him/her. To develop These Qualities One must be Independent, Practical and should work on their Personality
