MNS RANK STRUCTURE, SALARY, AND Benefits: Indian Armed Forces has its special division of nurses called MNS. The full form of MNS is Military Nursing Services. The biggest gateway for female candidates( as MNS is only for females) who are striving to serve the nation via joining the army is the MNS exam.

The MNS Rank Salary of the Military nurses is equivalent to other department officials in the army. The basic amount for MNS cadets would be around 56,000/- to 1,10,000/- per month and after that, there is furthermore income like TA (Travel allowance), DA (Dearness Allowance) MSP (Military service Pay), and free accommodation, etc. These are only basic earnings that cadets earn while on normal obligation. When they get dispatched to war regions or any life dangerous regions, cadets receive an extra salary as well.

While training, Military Nurses do get approx 8,000/- per month as pocket costs. Thereupon completing the training, the cadets are placed as Lieutenant, it is when they start earning 56000/- per month plus allowances, etc. Each MNS rank salary is given in detail below:

Captain – 61,100/- per month plus amenities.

Major – 69,400/- per month plus amenities.

Lieutenant Colonel- 1,21,200/- per month plus A-grade amenities.

Colonel- 1,30,600/- per month plus A-grade amenities.

Brigadier- 1,39,600/- per month plus A-grade amenities.

Major General- 1,44,200/- per month plus A-grade amenities.

Above given is the standard MNS rank structure of the Indian Military nurses, the income can fluctuate based on the action of the job.

However, the work profile differs from that of doctors, engineers, nurses, or officials; the promotion structure is the same for all the branches. In different branches, nurses get the same posts as officers. Nurses don’t participate in combat training, yet the names of posts are the same. There is no fixed structure of promotion, promotions are based on exams and experience. Lieutenant is the first post a nurse gets after completion of training. MNS Ranks structures are described below:-

Above mentioned post i.e. till the post of major, experience is the base for loss, and after major, one needs to clear promotional exams to get the next post.

After clearing exams following posts would be allocated:-

*Brigadier

*Major General

Every year internal exams are conducted for further promotions.
