CDS 1 2022 Exam Pattern for The Indian Military, Indian Navy, and Air Force Academy Exams are divided into three portions, whereas the Officers’ Training Academy Exam is divided into two sections, each of which contains 100 questions. Each question is worth one point. Each incorrect response resulted in a 1/3rd of the total mark being deducted. The exam lasted two hours. CDS 1 2022 Exam Pattern – Written Test
The IMA, INA, and AFA written exams are divided into three sections: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. OTA’s written paper is divided into two sections: English and General Knowledge. The question paper’s structure is shown in the table below:
- Exam Type: Offline, which means candidates will be given an OMR page to colour in the proper response.
- Types of inquiries: Each question will have four options, according to the objective type. The most relevant response must be chosen by the contestant.
- The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English.
Standard of CDS 1 2022 Exam Questions
The expected standard for each section of the CDS Exam is listed below:
- Mathematics: The papers in Elementary Mathematics will have a Matriculation level of difficulty. The quality of the papers in other courses will be comparable to that of a graduate of an Indian university.
- English: The question paper will be designed to assess the candidates’ command of the English language as well as their ability to use words in a professional manner.
- General Knowledge: Knowledge of current events and such items of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated individual who has not made a special study of any scientific subject is referred to as general knowledge. The paper will also feature questions on Indian history and geography that candidates should be able to answer without having to do any further research.
CDS 1 2022 Exam Pattern – Interview
The candidates are chosen based on their performance in the interviews. The interview for the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy is worth 300 points, while the interview for the OTA is for 200 points.Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the SSB Interview will be held. Candidates who pass the stage 1 exam will be invited to take the stage 2 exam.
- Stage 1: This is an OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating) test that includes both a picture perception and a description test (PP & DT). Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the OIR Test, as well as their performance in the PP and DT.
- Stage 2: Candidates who have passed the first round will be invited to this stage. The Group Testing Officer Tasks, Interview, Conference, and Psychology Test are all included in this section. These tests are scheduled over the course of four days.
CDS 1 2022 Marking Scheme
Every incorrectly marked response is subject to negative marking. Each question in the CDS paper has four options, only one of which is accurate. A third of a point will be deducted for each wrong answer. When more than one choice is indicated as erroneous, it is treated as such. There will be no negative marking if a question is left unanswered.
