AFCAT 1 2022 AGE LIMIT: The Indian Air Force is looking for the recruitment of officers in ground duty for both technical and non-technical branches and in flying duty. The process of applying for the positions starts on December 1 and will continue till December 30. AFCAT which stands for Air Force Common Admission Test is an entrance examination conducted by the Indian Air Force in order to choose candidates for the various positions of ground duty( including both non-technical and technical) and flying duty.
The candidates have to appear for an Online Written Examination and a panel Interview conducted by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Based on their performance in the written exam and the interview, the candidates are selected for recruitment. The candidates who select their branch as ground duty(technical) need to also sit for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) and AFCAT CBT
During the training period, the selected applicants, both men, and women would earn a monthly stipend of INR 56,100/- After completing the training period successfully, an IAF Officer will be paid between INR 56,100/- and INR 1,10,700/- as per the 7th pay commission.
AFCAT 1 2022 Age Limit
The candidates who want to apply for AFCAT 1 2022 should be at least 20 years in order to be elected for the recruitment. The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2023. For the flying branch, The upper age limit for flying branch is 24 years and the upper age limit for ground duty is 26 years.
The Indian Air Force has advertised a total of 317 vacancies. The jobs being advertised will fall under the Short Service Commission (SSC). The candidates need to clear a written exam, picture perception, psychological test, interesting rating test, and discussion round. Selected candidates will be called for group discussion and then interview, in order to be selected for these jobs.
