Continuous steps are being taken to further increase the strength of Indian Armed Forces. Now the surface-to-surface ballistic missile Agni-5 has been successfully test-fired on Wednesday. The range of this missile is being told about 5 thousand kilometers. Not only this, the missile was launched from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island.
In the midst of all this, the government has made it clear that their policy will remain the same that no weapon will be used first. The missile was launched at 7.50 pm. The first test of Agni-5 took place in April 2012. The second was launched in September 2013, the third in January 2015 and the fourth in December 2016.

Seven tests were conducted till December 2018. During these tests, the missile was fired from different types of launching pads. It was tested by launching it on different trajectories. Agni-5 has passed all the tests. It can be fired even from a moving truck.
Even before this test, the anger of China is coming to the fore. By the way, the preparation of DRDO is to make Agni-5 more lethal. He is trying to take its range up to 10 thousand kilometers. Right now it can only be operated from the ground. Work is also underway on the submarine version of Agni-5 for this missile to be fired from water as well.
