Indian and Nepal Armies : Military exercise between the armies of India and Nepal has started in Pithoragarh. 650 soldiers of both the countries are participating in the 14-day joint military exercise. This is the first military exercise between the two countries after the Corona crisis. Military exercise was started between India and Nepal in 2006 under the Surya Kiran campaign.
Last year, due to Corona, military exercises could not be done. But after the situation came under control from Corona, the Surya Kiran campaign has started again. The joint military exercise was inaugurated in Pithoragarh at the ground of 6 Garhwal Regiment. Indian Army’s Lieutenant General SS Mahal flagged off the military exercise. Relations between the two countries will be stronger.
Under the Surya Kiran campaign, military exercises are held alternately between India and Nepal. So far 14 military exercises have been conducted between the two countries. In the 15th military exercise, the soldiers of both the countries will not only share the tricks of fighting terrorism and disaster, but will also learn modern techniques of warfare from each other.

Not only this, the soldiers of both the countries will also share their information about military weapons. The Indian Army believes that such a military exercise will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries. Indian Army Lieutenant General SS Mahal says that the relationship between India and Nepal is traditionally connected, but in this way joint military exercises will strengthen the relationship. Also, the palace says that the armies of both the countries will get to know a lot from this exercise.
