Three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday. The officers provided this information.
He said that on receiving information about the presence of terrorists, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in high altitude areas in the forest area of Nagberan Tral in South Kashmir district.

Officials said that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces after which the encounter started. Three terrorists affiliated to Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed during the firing. Search operation is on. This is the second incident of encounter in this district in two days.
Indian security forces had received intelligence that some terrorists were hiding in the forest area of Nagbarian Tral of Awantipora in Pulwama. On the basis of intelligence, the security forces prepared a team along with the BSF and the local police. Based on the information, the security forces surrounded the entire area and asked the terrorists to surrender.
