Taliban bans import-export with India

With the Taliban taking control of Afghanistan, trade with India has been stopped. With the Taliban taking over Afghanistan, now the relations of neighboring or other countries with it have also started changing. India and Afghanistan have been close friends, but the Taliban have stopped both imports and exports with India as soon as they came to power.

Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General, Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) said that we are keeping a close watch on the developments going on in Afghanistan. Imports to India are through the transit route of Pakistan. Due to this the movement of goods from India has stopped in the country. He said that we are keeping a close watch on the developments in Afghanistan. Taliban has stopped all cargo going to Pakistan.

According to Dr. Sahai, Director General of FIEO, India is one of the major trading partners of Afghanistan. So far, goods worth $ 835 million (about Rs 62625 crore) have been exported from New Delhi to Kabul in the year 2021.
