IAF Builts One Of World’s Tallest Mobile Air Traffic Control Towers

Indian Air Force (IAF) has constructed one of the tallest mobile air traffic control towers in the world at Nyoma, Ladakh. The world’s tallest air traffic control tower has been built at the Advanced Landing Ground in Nyoma. The ATC controls the operations of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters operating in the Eastern Ladakh region. The Indian Air Force is continuously improving the flight capability of its fighter planes and helicopters to compete with China. Advance landing grounds are being prepared for flying big aircraft, fighter aircraft.

The Air Force is building an advance landing ground at Nyoma, Daulat Beg Oldi, Fukche in eastern Ladakh. Air traffic control towers are also being installed to meet the future challenges. Under this, one of the world’s tallest air traffic control tower in Nyoma has been built here.


What Is Technical Entry Scheme ?


At present, the position of the Air Force in Ladakh is strong. Igla Man Portable Air Defense Missile System has been deployed to further strengthen the Air Force’s air fleet in Eastern Ladakh. Apart from this, the Air Force is continuously running operations of aircraft like Rafale and MiG-21. The Air Force has made strong deployment on the heights of Pangogtso and Gogra.
