Indian Navy AA SSR Recruitment 2021

Online application registration for Indian Navy SSR AA 2021 will begin on April 26.

The Indian Navy has invited applications from qualified unmarried male candidates for the role of Artificer Apprentice (AA) & Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) (08/2021 batch). From April 26, 2021, to April 30, 2021, interested and qualifying candidates will apply online.

  1. Process of submitting application kicks off from April 26, 2021.
  2. Curtains will be drawn over online application process on April 30, 2021
  3. Fees for General/OBC candidates are Rs 215/- and for SC/ST candidates are Zero.
  4. The application fee can be charged via debit/credit card or Net Banking online.
  5. Age eligibility: Those who are born between 01 February 2001 and 31 July, 2004

  1. Academic Qualification

(a.) For the AA (600 Approx): Qualified in the 10+2 examination with 60 percent or more in aggregate in Maths and Physics, as well as at least one of the following subjects: – Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science from Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

(b.) For SSR (2500 Approx): You must have passed the 10+2 exam with Maths and Physics, as well as at least one of the following subjects: – Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science from Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Indian Navy SSR/AA Selection Process:

The Indian Navy 2020 selection process is divided into four phases, with information on each stage provided below.

  1. The first step is to take a computer-based test (CBT)

The written exam, which takes place online, is the first step. The exam will consist of objective style questions. There will be 100 questions, and the exam will take one hour to complete. The exam will be based on Science, Math, English, and General Knowledge, and the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi. Each question is worth one mark, with 0.25 points deducted for each incorrect answer. If a question is left unanswered, no marks will be deducted.

  1. Step two is a physical examination or PFT

In 7 minutes, run 1.6 kilometres.

  1. Preliminary Medical Standard 

Candidates who pass the PFT would be required to take a medical test administered by approved military physicians. Candidates will be assessed based on the following criteria in this exam:

The minimum height requirement is 157 cms.

A minimum chest expansion of 5 cms is recommended.

The chest and weight should be proportionate.

Those that are medically unfit in this round will be able to get a specialist assessment from a military hospital within 21 days. If the applicant has been found incompetent by the expert, there will be no need for a review or appeal. Candidates who were found permanently medically unfit in this round will appeal for a specialist opinion in a military hospital by paying Rs. 40 by military receivable order (MRO) at the government treasury within 21 days. Candidates will be considered ‘provisionally fit subject to fitness in the final medical test’ after passing the preliminary medical exam.

  1. Medical Exam for Final Enrollment

Candidates will be required to appear for the final enrollment medical on the basis of the merit list after completing all three measures mentioned above. They must report to INS Chilka on the prescribed date and time for their batch. They must ensure that they are in good physical and mental health, free of any ailment or illness that could impair their success both ashore and afloat under war conditions or peace as per Navy order, before appearing for the final enrollment medical. Candidates must also ensure that their ears are wax-free and that there are no signs of tartar in their teeth until taking the medical test.

Candidates will be required to show the police verification form and other related forms, as well as the call letter for the final enrollment medical exam at INS Chilka, once the final medical exam has been completed.
