Doubt 1- Whether SSB Interview is Introducing a De Navo Process – 3 Days
SSB Interview Process is a 5 Day Procedure which was Implemented in 1950’s and Since Then This 5 Day Procedure has not gone any major changes in it.SSB Interview Process involves 2 Stages :-
Stage 1- Screening-In This Around 70% of Cadets are filtered out and only 30% Students Clear this Stage.Its a 1 Day Procedure
Stage 2- This Stage is of 4 Days and Involves Psychological Test,GTO Test,Personal Interview and Conference
SSB Interviews are being Assessed by a Psychologist, GTO Officer and a Interviewing Officer. The Marking Scheme for SSB Interviews is 900 Marks of which 225 Marks are given to a Psychologist, 225 Marks are given to a GTO Officer and 225 Marks are given to an Interviewing Officer. Rest 225 Marks is given To Conference.till Today Service Selection Board hasn’t achieved a Pass Rate of 2% thus Shortage Of Officers still Continues in Indian Armed FOrces. Seeing the Shortage in 2019 a Research came up in SSB Center Bangalore . The Plan was to Reduce the GTO Series and was called as De Navo Process. This De Navo Process was a Pilot Study which was a huge Failure and was not Recommended
Often Indian Armed Forces comes with Research and Studies but any outcome or any change in Policy is done in a Systematic Manner.By this Blog we Would like to Tell You De Navo Process was just a Study and there was no Outcome of this Study. SSB Interview Process is the same 5 Day Procedure. De Navo is not a Part Of SSB Interviews at all.
Doubt 2- Whether Stage 1 Testing is being replaced by Computerized Officer Selection System
In Stage 1 of SSB Interviews Candidates have to first undergo Screening.Screening involves Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception Discussion Test. In Officer Intelligence Rating Test
Candidates are asked to solve Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning Test in OMR Paper. Rumours were that Officer Intelligence Rating Test is being replaced by Computer Based Officer Selection System known as (CBOSS). However this is a Rumour. OIR is still the Old Format and hasn’t been replaced by CBOSS
By this Blog we intend to Inform You that SSB Interview Process is the Same Old 5 Days Process. There is no change in SSB Interview Process. De Navo is not Introduced in SSB . SSB In Bangalore is also of 5 Days just like Other Service Selection Boards. Service Selection Board is a 5 Day Procedure Only. For Fore Details
