Indian Navy Tradesman Recruitment 2021: Big news for youngsters preparing to join the Indian Navy as Tradesman Mate. The advertisement has been issued by the Navy for recruiting a total of 1159 posts of Tradesman Mate in various trades in Eastern Naval Command, Western Naval Command and Southern Naval Command. Recruitment to the posts of Tradesman Mate in the Indian Navy is to be done through the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-TMM-01/2021).

Candidates desirous of applying for these posts will be able to apply through the online application form provided on the Indian Navy Recruitment Portal, joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The process of online application is to start from 22 February 2021 and candidates will be able to submit their applications online by 7 March 2021.

Vacancies 

Out of the 1159 vacancies, 710 are for Eastern Naval Command, 324 are for Western Naval Command, and 125 are for Southern Naval Command.

Indian Navy Tradesman Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria 

According to the Navy INCET TMM Recruitment 2021 notification, only those candidates who have passed High School or Secondary i.e. 10th examination from a recognized board for the recruitment of Non-Gazetted Industrial Tradesman Mate posts in Group C. Also a candidate must have obtained ITI certificate in trade related to the posts of the tradesman from a recognized industrial training institute. Apart from these, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years on the last date of application (7 March 2021).

Selection Process 

Selection of candidates for recruitment of 1159 posts of Tradesman Mate in Indian Navy is to be done as per the prescribed procedure. The Navy Tradesman Mate Recruitment 2021 selection process consists of application screening, computer-based online examination and document verification stages.

Based on the applications, candidates will be invited for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET-TMM-01/2021). The date and time of INCET, the examination city and centre of the candidates will be given by the Navy through the admit card. Candidates declared successful in online written examination will be invited for document verification on the merit basis.
