These clothes will help the Indian soldiers to remain deployed without difficulty on the border even in extreme cold. News agency ANI has quoted government sources as saying – The first consignment of special clothes has come to India from the US for severe cold and Indian soldiers are also using it on the Ladakhi border.
Sources have told that the Indian Army keeps a stock of special clothes for the severe cold according to about 60 thousand soldiers. This stock is for both western and eastern border front. But this year thirty thousand more sets were needed. In view of Chinese aggression, the number of soldiers in Ladakh has increased, so India needed more such jerseys.

Significantly, the border dispute between India and China has been going on since May. The dispute between the two countries became much more serious after the Galvan Valley incident in mid-June. India reacted very strongly to the martyrdom of its twenty soldiers.
India has also banned over 200 Chinese apps citing national security. There was a clash between the two armies at the end of August. India has made it clear to the Chinese side that with unrest on the border, relations between the two countries cannot remain normal.
