Defense Minister Rajnath Singh performed an arms worship at Sukna War Memorial in Darjeeling on the occasion of Dussehra. He said that India wants the tension with the border with China to end. Peace prevails in this area. I am confident that our army will not let anyone take an inch of our land. Earlier on Sunday morning, he reached Nathu La Pass and wished the soldiers on Dussehra.
The Defense Minister is on a 2-day visit to West Bengal and Sikkim. During this, Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwane was also present with him. Rajnath tweeted in the morning and wished the countrymen the best of Vijayadashami and said that I am always very happy to meet the soldiers of the Indian Army. Their morale has been very high. It is less to be praised. Rajnath visited the 33 Corps headquarters at Sukna in Darjeeling on Saturday to review the preparedness of the army in the eastern sector.

The Defense Minister said that whatever happened on the Indo-China border in Ladakh recently and the way our soldiers bravely responded, historians, will write in bold words the valour and courage of our soldiers.
On June 15, there was a violent clash between Indo-Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. In this, 20 soldiers of India were martyred. More than 40 Chinese soldiers were killed. To reduce tension on the border, two rounds of talks have been held between the two countries. India has deployed around 60,000 soldiers to fight the Chinese army in Ladakh.
