Lieutenant General BS Raju, the GOC of the Army’s 15th Corps, said the situation on the LoC was under control. Incidents of ceasefire violations have also decreased. This time the infiltration attempts have been largely successful in keeping them under control.
There are still 250-300 terrorists sitting on the launching pads. Winters are about to begin soon and intrusive attempts may intensify before that. But the troops on the Army’s LoC are fully prepared to face any situation. Will not let any intrusive attempts succeed. The GOC was speaking on Monday at the ‘Usamarg Festival’ held at the famous tourist destination Yusmarg in Budgam district.
Raju said that every year they get this festival done. He said that three years ago when he was GOC Victor Force was also organized, but today the presence of people in it is more. A large number of people are enjoying it. He congratulated Public and Army for successful organizing of the festival.

Call to abandon the path of terror
GOC Lieutenant General BS Raju said that the path of terrorism will lead to waste, so take full advantage of the opportunity and time available to the Kashmiri youth. There is a good atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir and we are following the right path.
He said that we have given this message many times before that whoever takes up arms, we will take action on it. But if there is someone who has taken up arms and wants to come back into the mainstream, we want to give him full chance to come back. Two-three examples of this have been seen recently.
Raju said that we want to give the same message further that any youth who has gone on the path of terrorism, we are ready to bring him back. The path of terrorism is not going to take any place, so take full advantage of the opportunities available to them here.
