UPSC CAPF 2020 Notification:The notification of the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2020 by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been released on 18th August.
According to the UPSC CAPF 2020 notification, the candidates are to be selected for a total of 209 vacancies this year. The vacancies include 78 BSF, 13 CRPF, 69 CISF, 27 ITBP and 22 SSB.

With the release of Assistant Commandant Exam 2020 notification, UPSC CAPF 2020 applications have also started.
The last date for the application has been set on 7th September 2020. At the same time, according to the recently released Revised Exam Calendar 2020 by UPSC, the CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 20th December 2020.
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Examination every year for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in various forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
These forces include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Last year, 323 vacancies of Assistant Commandants were advertised through the UPSC CAPF exam.

UPSC CAPF 2020 Eligibility
Those candidates who wish to appear in the UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandant) examination are eligible to apply, who have passed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute or have an equivalent qualification. Candidates also have to clear physical eligibility, which is shown below.
Also, the candidate should have attained the age of 20 years on 1st August 2020 and should not be older than the age of 25, i.e., the candidate should not have been born before 2nd August 1995 and not after 1st August 2000.
UPSC CAPF 2020 Application Fee
Aspirants who come under General/OBC category will have to pay 200/-
For SC/ST and female aspirants, the exam fee is exempted.
It’s important to note that the examination fee can only be paid through Debit, Credit Card, Net Banking in SBI, or through E Challan Fee Mode.
