Every year Indian Airforce conducts X/Y group examination for the recruitment of candidates for Jawans category for both technical and non technical trades. This examination proves to be a golden opportunity for all candidates whether of Science, Commerce or Arts stream. Every student even those with an average intellect can apply for the examination as the eligibility is of just a minimum percentage i.e. 50%. Group X and Y employees are referred to as Airmen. Group X Airmen will operate in the technical areas while Group Y airmen will work in non-technical streams.

The candidates who wants to appear in the x/y examination has to choose the group they want to go for viz. X group, Y group or both i.e. X+Y group. For X group question paper contains a total of 70 questions comprising of English, Physics and Mathematics. For Y group it is 50 questions comprising of English and RAGA and for both i.e. X+Y group the number of questions is 100 comprising of English, Physics, RAGA and Mathematics. As you all know the Indian Airforce X and Y group examination were held from 21st September to 24th September 2019. The examination was held in two shifts. Now that the examination is over the students must be curious to know about the test paper they have given. Here we are analysing Air Force X/Y examination 2019 which will contain the number of question asked along with their level of difficulty.

RAGA plays major role in Y group examination as this part consists the highest number of questions as compared to other parts of the paper. RAGA comprises of General Knowledge, Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning and general ability. The division of questions of RAGA is as follows:

TOPIC OF QUESTION NO. OF QUESTIONS
Figure Analogy 05 Questions
Directions 01 Question
Blood Relation 01 Question
Alphabets 01 Question
G.K 05 Questions
Percentage 01 Question
Speed, Time & Distance 01 Question
Probability 02 Questions
Triangle 01 Question

On the basis of analysis done we can see that there was no such change in the question pattern of RAGA. Reasoning got the maximum number of questions on comparing it from G.K and quantitative aptitude. Talking about the level of questions the whole RAGA paper was an easy-moderate one.
