AFCAT 1 2022 Exam Analysis: AFCAT 1 2022 Exam was being held across different exam centres on 12th February 2022. Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 01/2022) in online mode across selected exam centres from 12th to 14th Feb 2022 across the country for the recruitment of 317 Vacancies in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches/ NCC Special Entry/ Meteorology Entry.
AFCAT 1 2022 Exam was conducted in 1st shift (09:45 am – 11:45 am) for the candidates who applied for Non-Technical Posts. The exam was also conducted in the 2nd shift (14:15 pm -16:15 pm and 16:30 pm -17:15 pm) for those candidates who applied for Technical Posts in the Air Force.

AFCAT (1) 2022 Exam was conducted in the Objective type Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) format for 2 hours in an online method comprising of 100 questions carrying 3 marks each. In total, there were 100 Questions with 3 marks each. The level of difficulty was Easy to Moderate (65-75 with 90% Accuracy)

AFCAT 1 2022 Exam Analysis : Points To Note
The AFCAT(1) 2022 online paper consisted of questions that were of 3 marks. There was also a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers in the online paper. The questions asked were in English Language only.
The questions were in English Language only. Air Force has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.
After AFCAT 1 2022 Written Exam
Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will prepare a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the Online AFCAT Exam and will be called to one of the Air Force Selection Boards for an interview (AFSB). It will consist of three tests: the Officer Intelligence Rating Test, the Psychological Test, and the Computerised Pilot Selection System for the Flying Branch (CPSS).
Final Selection Following Medical Exams: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will select only those candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in both the written examination and the AFSB test, as determined by the IAF.
