Only the hardworking and lucky one’s gets the opportunity to be Armed Force personnel. There are many ways to join Indian Armed forces and one of them is through Non-Commissioned entries. These Non-commissioned officers are the lowest rank in all the three forces i.e. Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. A soldier or sailor or Airman gets ample opportunity to grow, following the hierarchy of ranking present in these forces. You can learn about the ranking structure of these forces in our previous blogs or click https://blog.trishuldefenceacademy.com/about-armed-forces/ranking-system-in-indian-army/
A junior commissioned officer need to put their 4-5 years of service to get promoted to the next rank. It takes years for a non-commissioned officer to reach junior-commissioned level. Hence, their chances of becoming a Commissioned officer through promotions become nil.
