SSB Marking Scheme : The Service Selection Board (SSB) administers a scientific personality test to individuals interested in joining the Indian Armed Forces, and it is not like any other exam in which you must pass to advance. Rather, it is a means of evaluating your personality features, which encompasses a lot more. For instance, your upbringing and social environment, habitual behaviour, how you handle various responsibilities in life, and how much you desire to improve it are all factors to consider. As a result, you may assess your entire personality. It is important to concentrate on the SSB marking schemes. It is crucial for defence aspirants to incorporate the 15 Officer-like Qualities, Leadership Quality, and other significant personality attributes into their daily routines and lives. Because changing one’s personality takes time. These characteristics, as well as others, are crucial.

ssb preparation

When it comes to the SSB Marking Scheme, there are a few things to consider. Psychologist, GTO, and President interview are the three assessors, each of which will give a score out of 300. Each assessor must provide a minimum score of 90. SSB has a total of 900 points. Each test phase is further broken into four components (psychology, GTO, interview, and conference round), totaling 900/4=225. To earn a “Yes” from either of the assessors, you must score at least 90 out of 225, whereas scoring less than 90 results in a “No.”

Screening, psychological testing, GTO exercises, and a personal interview are all part of the first four days’ programme. As a result, you’ll need to score at least 90*3=270 to pass. Consider the following examples:

1) One candidate receives an 80 in the interview, a 70 in the GTO, and a 75 in psychology. The total number of people is 225.

2) Another contestant received a total of 250 points out of a possible 270. Now it’s time to talk about the significance of the conference round. If your grade point average exceeds 240, a conference will decide whether or not you will be recommended.

Tips to Perform well in Screening

As a result, the first candidate mentioned above has no possibility of being recommended. The SSB BOARD has backup marks of 225, and they’ll start interrogating you on the issues where they think you’re weak in the conference round. If they find you fit, they will grant you enough points to raise your total score from 240 to 360. (as mentioned above). As a result, you will receive a minimum passing grade of 360 (90*4). Finally, you are recommended.

If an assessor is unsure about a candidate’s assessment during a psychology test, he can consult another assessor. Because he has to assess, the GTO or the IO does not have the option of seeking a second opinion. As a result, the greatest strategy to improve your grades is to train your thinking. The SSB’s selection procedure is based on techniques that try to examine an individual in the context of the Defence Forces’ requirements. As a result, prepare for each SSB phase and put in a lot of practice time.
